The Next Chapter Is Yours To Write

The Next Chapter Is Yours To Write

Dear Family,

All of us are in different seasons of life.

We’ve gained knowledge and wisdom we didn’t have in our younger days, but for some of us, past losses—whether in business, relationships, or personal setbacks—are still holding us back. Don't let them. The next chapter of your life is yours to write. No matter where you are, no matter what’s happened, the pen is still in your hands.

The hardest part isn’t having a dream—it’s allowing yourself to dream again after life has knocked you down.

It’s easy to think big when you’re young and full of ambition. But after years of hard work, unexpected detours, and sacrifices, it’s natural to wonder: Is this it? You put in the effort to reach a milestone—graduating medical school, making partner, launching your business—only to find that the reality doesn’t match the vision you once had. And that’s okay.

The question isn’t why didn’t this turn out like I thought? The question is, what am I going to do about it?

You are not stuck. You are not bound by past decisions. If the dream needs to evolve, let it. If the vision needs to change, embrace it. The key is to move forward with intention, to design the next phase of your life in a way that aligns with who you are now—not who you were five or ten years ago.

So, what will your next chapter look like?

From LUX, With Love

Matt
