The Next Brazil
*First, I'm sorry to all Brazilians for writing this article in English.
The focus of this post is to explain this new venture and invite my former partners, connections and friends to join to The Next Brazil.
I am a true enthusiastic of Brazil, just to be clear.
I am a former co-founder of a Brazilian fintech, sold to LWSA3 in 2021. I ran this company (Vindi) for the last 10 years, raising capital, managing around 500 employees, losing and winning some important deals, meeting extraordinary people (two Brazilian presidents, for example) and wrote a book about membership economy.
Before that I was an executive for 8 years at Itau.
I also helped to cofound the fintech ContaSimples, the publishing media portal Startups.com.br and invested in more than 15 successful Brazilian startups. In the meantime, I created the pioneering podcast Like a Boss with a friend, which quickly became an important channel for talking to Brazilian entrepreneurs and investors.
Sabbatical (2022-2025), family, coffee farm and Spotify
After sold the company, I decided to dedicate more time to my family and invest my money (and my time) in technology (of course), agriculture (we've bought a coffee farm) and in the real estate market.

I don’t know how, but in 2024, I composed guitar tracks and published them on Spotify under the name DNTSZ.
Now back in the market, after 2 years, I dedicate myself to participating in company boards, advising investment funds and write more.
Why The Next Brazil?
For many times, I was invited to talk with foreign entrepreneurs and investors about Brazil. In all these times, I tried to give them a real insight into how to make money in our country or help them build businesses here.
This project (partially paid by readers) is a shortcut for people with real interesting in Brazil and my only promise is to be “straight to the point” to discuss technology environment, economy, politics, and more.
Somehow, this could be fun.
