Meet our interviewee Anish Malattiri, Managing Director of Al Saeedi Group, Partner & Distributor of NEXEN TIRE Dubai

NEXEN TIRE is one of the best-selling tire brands in all our retail centers.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?

I am born and brought up in Dubai and my entire schooling was at Indian High School Dubai.?I then pursued my higher education at the University of Birmingham, UK, where I completed my Master’s Degree in Mechanical & Automotive Engineering and my Master’s Degree in International Business. I joined the family business Al Saeedi Group in 2008.

The company was started by my father Mr. Kuttan Malattiri in 1988 and since its inception, it has expanded its product portfolio in Automotive Tire Distribution along with tire services through our retail chain in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The company today has its footprints located in GCC, Africa, and, India.

I am married to Aswathy who is handling her family business which is into Logistics, and we have an 8-year-old Ayaan.

What is your day-to-day schedule like at the NEXEN Point Dubai flagship?and in what circumstances would I come to you for something?

NEXEN TIRE is one of the best-selling tire brands in all our retail centers. We carry an inventory of all the market sizes thereby ensuring the availability of the product all year long. We run several marketing campaigns promoted at our retail centers focusing on the NEXEN brand which makes it the most attractive tire brand in terms of pricing and performance quality for all customers. Our state-of-the-art service centers are well spread out in Dubai and Abu Dhabi making them accessible to customers located anywhere in the country looking for a professional service center for a tire change.

What is it like to be a part of NEXEN TIRE?

Since 2012, Al Saeedi became a partner of NEXEN TIRE and have been building the brand presence through our dealers, fleet, and retail customers. In 2018, we became the authorized distributor for NEXEN TIRE for UAE. Our association has grown stronger over the years and with the support of NEXEN TIRE Management, we have been improving the market share of the brand each year. The brand’s increasing association with World Leading Car brands as their OE Tire has also improved the customer’s acceptance as a proven quality tire for the vehicles in the replacement market. Al Saeedi continues to build sales thru all channels, its growing partnerships with several leading Fleet companies and Government and Semi-Government companies are a testament to NEXEN TIRE’s performance and service support from Al Saeedi.

What do you like the most about your job?

My interest in tires has only evolved ever since I was aware of the family business.?It then became quite natural for me to be interested in everything that was related to the automotive Industry. I am also a car enthusiast and it peaks my interest when there is a lot of innovation happening in the automotive field to improve the performance of a vehicle and its tires. My passion for the business motivates me to stay ahead of the game and to provide the best tire and service solutions for my customers.

Tell us something we don’t know?

I am an avid golfer, and travel enthusiast, and love to dine out and try different cuisines.?
