The NewsWhip ROI Calculator

The NewsWhip ROI Calculator

We know that proving ROI is never easy, especially when you’re trying to measure what didn’t happen and how much money your comms team saved the business as a result.?

With that challenge in mind, we recently interviewed a number of customers to get a better understanding of the time and money they save in their workflow thanks to NewsWhip.?

Our research showed that on average NewsWhip users save almost $100k a year by using features like our Report Builder, AI Digest, and Real-Time Alerts.?

Knowing this, we developed the ROI Calculator that you can use to see how much your own team can save based on your specific needs.

NewsWhip’s toolset integrates the three key aspects of speed, specificity, and context, and allows you to navigate seamlessly between them.

These NewsWhip tools were our access points when creating the calculator. They helped us to decipher A) how much time the calculator could save people and, B), ?how to assign a dollar amount to that.?

You can find out more about how we developed the calculator and try it out for yourself here.

Barbie called and she said the '90s are back

Just a few weeks after Mattel partnered with Airbnb to develop a life-sized Polly Pocket house, the brand is back with another nostalgic partnership, this time with Nokia for a Barbie "dumb phone." ?

The phone's features (or lack thereof) include the basic technologies of a '90s or early 2000's phone — a camera, and the ability to call and text. While some of us remember that era of devices, this new phone hopes to speak to those who don't. Yes, Gen Z, this one's for you.?

While the real-life Polly Pocket house made a splash in the headlines, the Barbie phone hasn't quite captured the same level of attention, at least among traditional media outlets. As far as mainstream publishers go, the BBC had the most success in covering the partnership. However, it was their TikTok about the phone that truly resonated, earning over 38k engagements.?

Even more notable, though, was a post that came from Pop Base on X , which featured images of what the Barbie phone will look like, and received nearly 300k engagements.?

HMD Global, the maker of Nokia, said in a press release that "this phone encourages you to ditch your smartphone in times when you just want less browsing and more fun." We're not sure if this will truly stop the neurotic need to endlessly scroll social media, but for hit of nostalgia, the phone will cost you around $130.?
