ALIEN REGISTRATION REQUREMENT
In alignment with the executive order, Protecting the American People Against Invasion, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires all aliens to register with USCIS. Non-compliance may lead to criminal and civil penalties, including misdemeanor charges and fines.
Here’s what you need to know:
·????? Aliens aged 14 and older who were not fingerprinted or registered during their U.S. visa application and remain in the U.S. for 30 days or more must complete the registration and fingerprinting process.
·????? Parents and guardians must ensure children under 14 are registered.
·????? Once a child reaches the age of 14, they must apply for re-registration and fingerprinting within 30 days.
·????? After registration and fingerprinting (unless exempted), DHS will issue proof of registration. Those over 18 must always carry this proof.
Ensure you comply with these requirements to avoid penalties and stay in good standing with USCIS.
