The results of our latest benchmark survey offer a comprehensive overview of employee engagement and satisfaction across the UK workforce. The survey provides valuable insights into areas of strength and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Key Findings
Strengths
1. Job Satisfaction
? 87.1% of employees enjoy their job.
? This exceptional result underscores a positive connection between employees and their roles, contributing to motivation and retention.
2. Alignment with Organisational Values
? 83.7% of employees feel that the organisation’s values align with their own.
? Shared values foster trust and create a sense of purpose for employees.
3. Organisational Communication
? 83.1% believe communication across the organisation is good.
? Clear and transparent communication supports collaboration and employee engagement.
4. Commitment to the Organisation
? 81.0% of employees plan to remain with the organisation over the next year.
? This reflects strong employee loyalty and a stable workforce.
5. Sense of Achievement
? 79.7% feel their job gives them a sense of accomplishment and meaning.
? Employees clearly see the impact and value of their work.
Areas for Improvement
1. Inclusion and Authenticity
? 67.1% feel they can be themselves at work.
? While the majority feel authentic, there is a need to foster an even more inclusive environment where employees feel safe to express their individuality.

2. Leadership Accountability
? 66.6% agree that leaders are held accountable for their actions and behaviours.
? Enhancing accountability measures could improve trust and alignment between leadership and employees.
3. Leadership Inspiration
? 62.4% feel inspired by the Senior Leadership Team.
? Focused leadership development could strengthen employee confidence in strategic vision and guidance.
4. Work-Life Balance
? 62.2% are satisfied with their work-life balance.
? Addressing this concern could positively impact well-being and long-term engagement.
5. Career Progression Opportunities
? 62.2% believe they have opportunities to progress within the organisation.
? Providing clear career pathways and professional development programs could support employee growth and retention.
Summary
The Employer of Choice results reveal a workforce that is largely engaged, aligned with organisational values, and satisfied with their roles. However, there are opportunities to enhance inclusivity, improve leadership inspiration and accountability, and provide greater career progression and work-life balance.
