Newsletter May 2024

Dear customers, partners, and interested parties,

In this newsletter, we reflect on the past quarter. Three splendid months, during which we have onboarded many new clients and forged new partnerships with, among others, Ninatrans, Bergtrans, and a collaboration with SBS Sloten. Also, don't forget to mark the dates of our upcoming events in your agenda because T Comm will once again be present on international stages to showcase our latest developments and products.

We wish you happy reading!

Collaboration with Ninatrans – Your timing, our driving

Ninatrans (based in Leuven, Belgium) specializes in executing national and international time-sensitive freight and critical shipments for customers who expect a high level of efficiency. Therefore, strict adherence to loading and delivery times is essential.

We are very proud to support Ninatrans in maintaining high-quality and delivery standards with the following solutions:

  • T Comm Telematics Solar Panel Unit:

  • T Comm Telematics module with EBS and Temperature Registration: For refrigerated trailers and conditioned transport, we use our T Comm main module to provide all valuable EBS data in addition to temperature and door registration.

  • ACT Data Platform Integration: By integrating third-party trailer telematics into our ACT platform, we offer a comprehensive overview on a single platform. This ensures seamless coordination and control of all transport activities through a centralized view of all units in a uniform, user-friendly platform.

We thank Ninatrans for their trust and look forward to a long-term collaboration!

Multimodaal Transport Expo 2024

On March 14, we participated in the Multimodal Transport Expo in Breda for the third time. In addition to welcoming new and existing customers, it also provided us with the opportunity to gain insights into the latest developments in intermodal transport. As a leading (trailer) telematics supplier, this was an important moment to collaborate with other service providers in this market and consider innovative technologies that will shape the future of transport. The expo offered numerous opportunities to connect with other companies and professionals. Our booth illustrated our contribution to the sector, showcasing innovations for more efficient and sustainable transport. We thank all visitors who stopped by our booth. With the insights gained, we will further develop our strategies and continue to strive for innovation. Of course, we will be present again at the next Multimodal Transport Expo on March 25, 2025.

Official Partnership and Full Integration of SBS Locks (Imbema)

At T Comm, we are constantly striving to make your transports safer and more efficient. That's why we have integrated the electronic locks 'Hornet' and 'Inlock' from SBS/Imbema into our telematics solution. These locks not only help prevent theft but also enhance the security of sensitive cargo such as medicines, pharmaceuticals, and refrigerated products. With this addition to our solution, you can now easily monitor lock positions and door movements remotely from one system, set up geofencing and routing, and receive proactive alerts in case of any deviations.

We are proud to announce that we are now officially partnering with Imbema Group for this integration. This means that our customers will receive a telematics solution that provides insight into current trailer positions, temperatures, refrigeration unit data, EBS data, and more, while also being TAPA TSR1 certified. This includes all possible locking situations, including alarms, sirens, and the more!

New service vans for our engineers

Have you spotted one of our new service vans on the road yet? With these fresh mobile workstations, we aim not only to better serve you but also to give our dedicated engineers an extra boost. So, if you see one of our vans passing by, feel free to give them a friendly honk or wave! Wishing all our engineers safe and smooth miles ahead.

Study trip RAI

Our team member Michael Verweij participated in the RAI CarrosserieNL study trip to Spain from April 15th to 17th. During this trip, the group visited several key players within our industry. The trip began with a visit to transport company Grupo Sesé. Following that, the group toured the factory of Grupo FERRUZ, an international manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, aluminum trailers, and refuse trucks among other products. The study trip concluded with a visit to Guillén Group, a leading manufacturer of curtainsider trailers located in Valencia.

Of course, there was also time between visits to enjoy the beauty that Spain has to offer: the cuisine, the landscapes, and not to forget the sunny weather. We're jealous ??!
