El pasado 31 de mayo tuve el placer de impartir?una sesión presencial en?Zaragoza en el Santander Work Cafe?con ese título.
Si me conocéis sabéis que uso mucho este término,BLEASURE?que no es sino una mezcla de?business + pleasure.
Y qué les conté: lo que os vengo diciendo desde hace long time:
?Vida y media estudiando?#English...y nothing de nothing???
Parece ser que apuntarse al gimnasio, a la autoescuela y a las clases de inglés es el Spanish lifestyle.
Y?ME REVIENTA BASTANTE??? (al menos en la parte que me toca).
Me gusta ver resultados y dar a mis clientes?SOLO LO QUE NECESITAN... que igual no quieren más que un café solo y se encuentran es un combo de café,zumo de naranja y tostada...así no funciona my friend.
El inglés no es una asignatura, es la llave a un mundo de oportunidades personales y profesionales pero?intentar abarcarlo todo es?useless?(inútil).
Y luego que viene la?frustración??
Porque no estás mal hech@ ni eres uno [email protected]ún no has encontrado TU forma de aprender.

???International Doughnut Day??
It is celebrated on the first Friday of June each year??
The day is supposed to celebrate the deliciousness of doughnuts and the joy they bring to people around the world (love the reason).
The?origins?of International Doughnut Day can be traced back to the?World War I era?when the Salvation Army provided doughnuts to soldiers as a morale?booster?(subidón)??
Doughnuts come in a variety of?flavours?(sabores),?shapes?(formas), and?sizes?Tama?os), from traditional glazed and powdered to filled and frosted with different toppings and flavours, including chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, maple, and salted caramel but also some of the combining?sweet?(dulce) and?salty?(salado) (bacon, as an example).
The?record for the largest doughnut ever made was set in 1998 and weighed over 3,739 pounds (1,696 kg)!...
I think I know some of my students could eat that in no time (I’m pretty sure you are already thinking of someone, right?)??

???NATIONAL FISH AND CHIPS DAY?(2nd June)
Os dejo con algunas de las curiosidades sobre este British typical dish y una recipe /résipi/ (receta) in English...?a ver que tal os sale!
Se cree que el?primer establecimiento?en vender fish and chips fue abierto en Londres alrededor de?1860.
*Se?popularizó?como una opción para la cena de los viernes debido a la?tradición católica de abstenerse de comer carne.
*Durante la?Segunda Guerra Mundial, se convirtió en una?comida popular y asequible.
*El pescado se sumerge en?masa de harina?antes de ser frito, lo que le da un?exterior crujiente (crunchy).
*Se suele utilizar?abadejo (haddock) o bacalao (cod), pero también se pueden usar otros tipos de pescado.
*Se sirve con patatas fritas (chips)?y acompa?amientos como?guisantes (peas), salsa tártara (tartar sauce)?y?vinagre?de malta.
*El restaurante Harry Ramsden's entró en el?Libro Guinness de los Récords?por servir la?porción individual de fish and chips más grande del mundo (21 kg).
As promised...??Fish and Chips Recipe??:
??Ingredients:
?2 large white fish fillets (such as cod or haddock)
?2 cups all-purpose flour
?1 teaspoon baking powder
?1 teaspoon salt
?1 cup cold sparkling water
?Vegetable oil for frying
?4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into thick strips
?Salt and pepper to taste
??Steps:
??Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
??In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
??Gradually add the sparkling water to the flour mixture, whisking until you have a smooth, thick batter.
??Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).
??Pat dry the fish fillets with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
??Dip each fish fillet into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, and carefully place it into the hot oil.
??Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Repeat with the remaining fillets.
??While the fish is frying, blanch the potato strips in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
??Fry the potato strips in batches until golden and crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
??Place the fried fish and chips on the prepared baking sheet and keep warm in the preheated oven.
??Serve the fish and chips with salt, vinegar, tartar sauce, or any desired condiments.

Desde el jueves 8 hasta el domingo 11 estaré en Málaga (Dios bendiga a los?speed trains?que hacen que en menos de 5h llegue a Malaga ) en un Congreso y también dusfrutando de ver a algunos amigos.
La temáticas del Encuentro es?Tecnología & Sostenibilidad?????y participaré como?speaker y moderadora?de una de las mesas redondas que se organizan el viernes.
La verdad que tengo muchisimas ganas de ir porque todas las talks me parece muy interesantes, y ya sabéis que?no hay nada como el offline?y el volver a ver a personas que hace tiempo que no has abrazado o incluso?desvirtualizar?a personas que solo has visto a través de la pantalla.

Hace un par de semanas estuve en Brno (República Checa) por primera (but not last-pero no última vez) para un congreso organizado?por Teachers para Teachers.
Me gustó mucho porque durante 2 días no nos centramos en metodología sino en los teachers y estudiantes como personas (on?teachers and students?as?people).
Cuanto mejor estemos y más nos formemos también a nivel humano, mejores teachers seremos y eso solo puede traer beneficios (bring benefits) a nuestros students.
?Ya tengo reservadas las fechas para el a?o que viene! Además vendrán como este a?o, con birthday celebration included!??
