Indore-based InsurTech startup?BimaKavach?has raised $2m in a seed funding round led by?WaterBridge Ventures, along with participation from?Blume Ventures,?Arali Ventures, and?Eximius Ventures.?

Businesses in India face myriad challenges when purchasing insurance, and the small-medium-enterprises (SME) segment remains largely unpenetrated from an insurance standpoint. BimaKavach aims to make business insurance simple and transparent for start-ups and small-medium-enterprises (SMEs). Its?platform?is designed to reduce the steps in this process by allowing businesses to discover, buy and manage insurance online.?

BimaKavach plans to utilize these funds to invest in its proprietary risk management technology, design new-age business risk covers and scale business and teams. We at WaterBridge Ventures are thrilled to join founder?Tejas Jain?on this journey!
