This series of articles isn't designed to fully prepare you for Databricks certification exams. I’m not here to share advanced techniques or secret tips, so if you’re already an experienced Databricks practicioner, this might be a bit too basic for you.

Instead, I’ll walk you through the official Databricks Exam Guide (current as of summer 2024) and give you a simplified overview of the platform and what it can do.

I believe learning is a never-ending journey, and I don’t expect to cover everything 100%.

I’m not a fan of long reads—whether it's reading them or writing them—so I aim to keep things short and sweet. Four minutes, or about half a cup of coffee, should be plenty of time to get the gist. I value consistency over length.

For thorough preparation, I highly recommend diving into the official Databricks materials and checking out content from professional bloggers.

Remember, a Data samurai has no destination, only a path.
