Chief Inspiration Officer I HR Done Differently for small businesses I #inspiringhr #hrdonedifferently
9 个月It is a tall order these days to keep policies current since technology seems to change daily. And then there's "what's next with AI" to pay attention to. In the "HR" lane of business, ask yourself who keeps the Handbook current? Even if labor laws don't change in the year (by the way there are several Federal law changes coming) who keeps policies within current based on how business processes change in any given year? That HR department of one that is already stretched thin....that Handbook update will likely be on their list and stay on that list, not yet tackled or done by year end. Then what? Consider who or what can aid the people on the team, tasked with keeping infrastructure current, that are stretched to thin. How might you know they are stretched to thin? Look over the Job Description and then help them list out and analyze where time is being spent. I promise this exercise will reveal gaps and opportunities for improvement. Love these podcast video's from Cory Mosley, CSP? and Lon Graham.
