Sneak peek?
I am writing this introduction a few moments before the start of the first meeting, the second edition of I Want to IT! In just a moment I will personally meet new adepts of the Power Platform art. An art that is difficult but interesting, demanding but rewarding, technical and creative at the same time. By the time you read this, the meeting is over. If we've seen each other in person, I'm just nailing you with a virtual high-five ?. This confusion in your head is a normal reflex. You will be fine. Trust me and calmly review the news of the past week????

[?? Power Automate ??]? The approval process is familiar to anyone who has played with Power Automate for a while. There are probably endless scenarios for its use, but it turns out that there are repeating patterns. And someone found these patterns, and as he found them, he packaged them into a solution that allows you to duplicate them quickly. By the way, he added support for absences and delegations and a few other goodies. Finally, he called this marvel Approval Kit and made it available to everyone. I highly recommend going through the documentation (there are even training courses!) and installing the solution. The only downside to regular Approvals is the premium license requirement.? ?

[?? Power Apps ??] The ability to integrate with SharePoint is one of Dataverse's many useful features. More functional no and cheaper solution compared to the built-in attachment mechanism. How to just show them within a Model-Driven application? The answer and recipe can be found in this article:? Last week I opened a pandora's box by writing about licensing and the cost of Power Pages. Today I dig even deeper. I recommend a brief summary of Power Apps licensing for Guest accounts: Power Apps Licensing for Guest Users - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)?

[?? Power Automate Desktop ??]?Slowly, PAD is starting to provide similar connectors to its cloud-based brother. The ability to integrate with Forms has just been released. It probably won't be the most used feature of the platform, but it will certainly come in handy. The operation itself can be seen in this video by Daniel????
[?? Power Pages ??] The ability to integrate with online payments has recently been added to Power Pages. At this moment, the Stripe gateway is supported. You can see the configuration here: Anatomy of the Stripe payments in Power Pages – CloudMinded Blog?
[?? AI Builder ??] The word Prompt will be conjugated by all cases in 2024. The best evidence of this can be seen in the Power Platform itself. A library of Prompts is just appearing in AI Builder. It looks tasty: Your own AI Prompt library (anainesurrutia.com)?
?[?? Copilot ??] This will probably be a permanent corner in our newsletter. Copilot will make a longer appearance in the pages of this newsletter. We start with an example of creating your own Copilot for external services: BUILD YOUR OWN SERVICE COPILOT WITH COPILOT FOR SERVICE (PREVIEW)
