• You may have seen a familiar face on Good Morning Britain last Wednesday. Andrew Goodacre, our CEO chatted to their news team about the upcoming announcement about business energy support that was made later that morning. He also appeared on LBC news and 5 Today.
• One of our members, Cathy Frost, who runs Loveone in Ipswich talked to Sky News live on Wednesday also talking about how the cost of living and energy price hikes would be affecting her and similar businesses in her area.
• Bira welcomed the news from Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng on Friday which outlined the measures that he believes will be boosting growth. With the basic rate of income take being cut to 19p and rise in National Insurance also being reversed, we are hopeful that this will help indies survive.
