This week, Inflection AI released Pi, a personal AI, Pi, your personal AI on the App?Store (apple.com) It's remarkable to witness the rapid development of AI products, as just days after our conversation on Monday, a functional app with an eerily human-like voice, offering polite and insightful advice, became available.
This movie, all of a sudden, has taken on an unexpectedly prophetic quality.
This significant progress highlights the emergence of the first AI CEO, and the speed at which AI technologies are advancing. However, as I read about the concerns raised by top AI CEOs and experts regarding the "risk of extinction" posed by AI Top AI CEOs, experts raise 'risk of extinction' from AI | Reuters, it becomes clear that even these AI leaders are not exempt from potential consequences. It's a stark reminder of Jack Ma's warning that by 2035, up to 800 million jobs worldwide could be displaced, a scenario that extends beyond his own position as well discussed here Algorithm appointed board director - BBC News
Looking ahead, Ray Kurzweil predicts that by 2035, AI could be demanding its own rights. This raises the intriguing possibility of algorithms being appointed to positions of power, such as Congress, Whitehall, and perhaps one day even the presidency or prime minister role of a country. In fact, considering their potential capabilities, algorithms might even excel at these positions. However, this potential future also raises concerns about the diminishing role of humanity, with humans possibly becoming the minority among life forms on Earth.
These developments compel us to consider the ethical implications and societal impact of AI as it continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace.

I am confident that I will raise this matter during the upcoming board meeting of Colegio Ikigai . It would be a great privilege for our school to pioneer the integration of AI elements into our governance structure, becoming one of the frontrunners in this innovative approach.
Alternatively, we could consider appointing an AI as a new member of our school staff. It might be worth exploring the idea of having an AI serve as the Head of AI in our institution.
This is a timely call that allows us to express our thoughts on the pressing issues in education, which I believe will soon begin to disrupt educational systems worldwide. It is crucial for us to utilize this opportunity to address the complex and uncertain aspects of incorporating AI into our students' learning experiences.
