The video below featuring Imran Chaudhri from Humane offers an unique perspective on the evolving connection between computers and humans. It envisions a future where computers completely vanish. This idea has a lot of parallels with Arthur C. Clarke's quote: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." It fascinates me to think about how, within our lifetimes, we might witness the emergence of technology that resembles something akin to magic. Imagining computers transforming into the voice of Jarvis within the Iron Man suit feels like a remarkable advancement, almost like a form of advanced magic.
But will it play tricks on us?
"Its starting to get strange now." Ethan Mollick.
I've come across AI-generated songs before, but this particular piece grabbed my attention. It raises an ethical debate: who has the right to claim ownership over our creativity? While Frank's voice may sound slightly unusual in certain parts, it serves as clear example of how rapidly technology is reshaping popular culture. I can't help but imagine the possibility of hearing Elvis perform Public Enemy's "Fight the Power," through an invisible computer on my Star Trek-inspired chest communicator. As Paul Daniel's my favourite magician might say, "you'll like this, not a lot, but you'll like it."
Is it possible for Mr. Beast to achieve the remarkable feat of becoming the first billionaire from YouTube? Consider Miss Excel, who earns a staggering six-figure income daily through her educational content on TikTok. It's attractive to think the potential if educators, like ourselves, focused on this thriving and expanding economy, leveraging our collective abilities.
Perhaps we too could join the ranks of the growing number of millionaires emerging from the creator economy.
Darren Coxon Coxon's quote, "We are looking in the wrong direction with AI in schools," encapsulates a clear insight shared in his recent audio show with Education 3.0. The concept of utilizing AI to streamline and organize data within an educational environment resonates strongly with me. The idea of simply querying my Star Trek-inspired badge for information about the data I already possess in school, could have great benefit. It's an innovative application of AI that holds great promise.
Darren's blog, as always, is a thought provoking read.
As quantum computing makes its debut in the realm of social media, we are left to wonder the strange possibilities that arise when AI and quantum computing intersect. Arthur C. Clarke, any ideas?
In numbers that is 2,000,000,000 USD. That is probably enough for a war chest, what they might do with it is another thing.
Melissa McBride ?? The Future of Education does start here and and as always Sophia High School are running away with it all.

My respects to Miss Excel - great job!
It appears to me that time travel could well be the correct theory, although another possibility is that AI detectors simply fail to function effectively. It's brave school and a teacher that fails a whole class, with only a suspicion of AI cheating. What a year ahead for schools!
Thought is free and I love this what Diane Tavenner, co-founder and CEO of Summit Public Schools says in this video.

Daniel Schwartz - “I want to emphasize that a lot of AI is also going to automate really bad ways of teaching. So [we need to] think about it as a way of creating new types of teaching.”?
