1.) AI glitches: Google?pauses Gemini's image generation.?

Google has temporarily suspended text-to-image capabilities in its recently launched Gemini AI model following concerns about its ability to accurately depict historical figures. In response to these concerns, Google has acknowledged the issue and paused the image generation feature of Gemini. The company is actively working to improve the model’s accuracy and historical context awareness.?

Our future was foreseen in the movie, “2001: A Space Odyssey”, when HAL, the rogue AI said, "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that." Let's see what the future beholds for us. ? It is quite fascinating and scary at the same time.?

THIS WEEK AT SCIFLARE:?

?

I) Beware of the News.Grets.Store :?

We recently identified a significant increase in referral traffic across several accounts within the past few days. Upon closer inspection, the source appears to be a single domain: "news.grets.store."?

However, unlike typical spam sources like backlink blogs, "news.grets.store" doesn't seem to be a legitimate website. Instead, it appears to be manipulating users' Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tags, generating a surge in "referral traffic" with no actual user engagement (time on site, clicks, etc.). Referral spam is a malicious practice targeting analytics platforms like Google Analytics. It involves sending fabricated traffic data to inflate website traffic from specific sources, often with the intent to mislead or manipulate data.?

This activity significantly skews various metrics, impacting reporting accuracy. Addressing this issue is crucial to maintain data integrity.?

So our suggestion would be to block or remove this ghost spam referral traffic! Beware.?
