We were delighted to attend The Standard’s ISF on Saturday 22nd October. It was a great day meeting parents and children alike.?

We were fortunate to have our head of ICT & STEAM, Mr. Janjua, join us for the day,?where he shared his wealth of knowledge, and brought a 3D printer and other implements, to show families the cutting-edge programmes and technology we have at the school.?

Children enjoyed playing with the programable robots, Minecraft game and watching the printer produce mini robot keyrings for them to take home.

Mr. Janjua also gave a speech in the Information Session about WASHK iSteam curriculum.?Ours is a future-proof education that benefits children by giving them a competitive edge in preparing for their future careers.?We believe that our iSteam module provides a more holistic skills set for students to be future-ready.

“The future world is all about technology, so it’s crucial to expose children to multiple disciplines.?Our students learn about data science, engineering design, building dexterity, computational thinking, and much more,” shared Mr. Janjua.

The subject disciplines can be difficult at first, but Mr. Janjua stressed that?“making mistakes is an indispensable part of learning for it propels them to do more critical thinking and communicate with peers to come up with solutions.”

Adaptability and confidence are also nurtured through iSteam.?Students are encouraged to join competitions through which they learn to solve problems under pressure and stay composed in front of people outside school.?

As the first Microsoft Showcase private school in Hong Kong, we have the credentials when it comes to iSteam education.
