SHHHHH?- as we stock up on food and beverages and prepare to bunker down, or pack our bags and check into a hotel, or even flee to another island,?FINALLY?Nyepi is upon us and will be celebrated in?ALL?it’s?GLORY!!

After a three year?HIATUS, the Ogoh Ogoh have been created, the?arak?has been crafted, and Bali prepares for a significant "banning of all that is bad" across the island ...?NEGATIVE?spirits be gone!!

So, while the Ogoh-Ogoh are?RIDDING?the island of evil, we here at The Yak focus on what is gentle, fabulous and new!!

First up we meet the charming Ram Hiralal , GM?of? Jumeirah Bali ?in Jimbaran, before we head even further?SOUTH?to? Karma Kandara .

We do a quick?U-TURN?and head to the hills to drop into?@KORURUADIJIWAUBUD - DIJIWA SANCTUARIES and spend a day in UBUD with Ini Vie Hospitality .

Next is our bi-weekly Out of the Box section hosting two of our favorite brands - see them drop two fabulous iconic products?-?New Colors of Fixie Bamboo Bicycle from Kate Wood and?Natural Kids Care Collection from Sensatia Botanicals we?HEART?you!

Time to?PARTY!! And where better than? White Rock Beach Club Bali ??Which is offering a music line-up that is bound to bring in the punters!

However, the?AFTER-PARTY?will be?heading to?SUMBAWA?bringing some much needed donations of clothes, sports wear, school materials and more, to one of our favourite off-island charities -? Harapan Project

Let's not forget those less fortunate!!?DROP-OFF?point is in Kerobokan, so let's declutter and send your preloved items to us as we will be dropping them off in person around the 2nd week of?APRIL!

Lastly, we would like to just look back and recognize?BALI’s BIGGEST CLEANUP?by?@ONEISLANDONEVOICE?- the best one ever!!
