With The Yak's Christmas and New Year’s calendars firmly planted in your inbox, the time has come to say goodbye to 2023 with this issue of Minyak as The Yak heads into #hibernation?for 2024. Family relocation is the name of the game for 2024 and therefore all things Yak will take a back seat and a well-deserved rest throughout the Year of the Dragon! No Minyak, no Digital and no Print for now...

So with hibernation on our charts, this last issue of MinYak December 2.0 helps launch a tourist?emergency?service courtesy of Grab ?to assist travellers in danger or in need of help…

With that number firmly in our contacts we head to Seminyak as top of our party list is the newly launched?Q-Lounge by Queen's Tandoor Group . Then as we let off some steam, or rather smoke, we head to Eden Hookah Club Ubud?with various venues in various areas of Bali… And of course we had to drop into one of our favourite showrooms John Hardy , for an exhibition and a Long Table luncheon!

A must view is our MinYak mid-section for loads of Christmas, NYE events plus the gifts and hampers article, before we recommend you drop into another fabulous exhibition The Apurva Kempinski Bali down in Nusa Dua.

If you are restocking your home booze cupboard or buying gifts for friends and family, high up on our shopping list is the fragrant Gin from East Indies Gin - an award winning gin distilled in the Island of the Gods!

Following on with these island flavours, we take you to Paoman Restaurant in Ubud by Inara Alas Harum for full on Bali flavours as well as giving you a tour of?@KaamalaResort?and?@AksariUbud,?@DedaryResort,?@AmareaUbud?and @SuaraAlamUbud?all managed by Ini Vie Hospitality , and also all located in the hills…

Back down to Seminyak, we check in to?@KolilaVilla?another Ini Vie location and start planning for a trip north, to Lake Toba in Sumatra just to visit the brand new Fivelements . With travel on our mind we also add Plataran Komodo in Labuan Bajo to our list of hotspots for 2024.
