Creative Workshops for Young People in Eindhoven!

This this year foundation we are will be collaborating with Jong Cultuur to make tree diverse workshops!

This year, we’re teaming up with Cultuur Eindhoven and other incredible local organizations to host three unique and inspiring workshops for young people in Eindhoven. These workshops are designed to create meaningful spaces where young people can connect, learn, and express themselves creatively.

We kicked things off with an amazing guerrilla action in partnership with Demo Eindhoven, where they led a workshop focused on making our city even more beautiful. It was an inspiring start, and the energy was contagious!

Now, we're thrilled to announce three more workshops—and we’d love for you to be part of them:

  • November 3rd: Madeleine’s Stamp & Sip & Make
  • November 30th: Lieke’s Film & Documentary Workshop
  • February 15th: Marleen’s Creative Workshop on Mental Health

The best part? All workshops are completely free and open to anyone between the ages of 14 and 27.

Come join us, get creative, and let’s make something amazing together!

Throwback to

Unexpected Encounters #5 How do we make agreements on climate change?

In September, we wrapped up the final episode of the Unexpected Encounters series in collaboration with Pakhuis de Zwijger, and it didn’t disappoint. Moderated by Marsha Simon, this closing session brought negotiators, researchers, activists and lawyers together.

In this fifth and final episode, we dove deep into the barriers standing in the way of real climate action. Despite the urgency, why does progress seem to stall? Our speakers unpacked how short-term interests and well-funded corporate lobbying regularly derail efforts toward systemic change. Rob Weterings, Dieuwertje Wallaart and Yann Robiou du Pont spoke of the intricacies and hollowness of ‘policy jargons’ and the coming generational shifts. Mert Kumru, Jantijn Anema and Nina de Pater gave us a unique insight into the work they do towards achieving climate justice and the importance of stubborn optimism. Covering landmark moments of climate justice, from Mileudefensie’s famous Shell trial to the Urgenda case against the Dutch State, to the the Republic of Vanuatu asking the UN’s International Court of Justice for an advisory opinion on what the obligations of countries across the world are when it comes to climate change.

If you missed it, you can catch the full episode here (soon). This series has been a powerful space for reflection and action, and we’re energized by the connections and ideas it’s sparked. We’re grateful for having hosted all of these amazing speakers and for learning from how they take charge of their professional agency and responsibility in the climate crisis.
