News roundup for June
Exhibit 3sixty Ltd
Designing and overseeing the construction and installation of exhibitition stands since 2008
Welcome to issue #2 of our monthly newsletter! We've been at full steam all month, with a bevy of stands and feature areas designed, built, and delivered to shows at NEC, ExCel London, Olympia London, Manchester Central, and the QEII Centre, to name a few. Phew!
Home News
With summer upon us, we're taking a few well-earned breaks now - including heading off to the ESSA Summer Event at the Forest of Arden Golf Resort, July 12-13,? where we'll be teaming up with the brilliant folks at Bang On Graphics for the golf tournament, and we're even sponsoring the second tee with some beers and refreshments for our thirsty fellow golfers. If you're an ESSA member and coming to the event, be sure to pop by and say hello!
We're also very pleased to announce that we've appointed Steve Crumpton as our new designer. Steve's worked with us for years in a freelance capacity, creating some superb designs and visualisations for our clients, so it's great to be able to secure his talents exclusively!
Full-Service News
NHS Confed Expo, Manchester Central, 14-15 June,
One of our larger shows, NHS ConfedExpo was an immensely important show for the NHS, with the Secretary of State for Health, the Shadow Secretary and the NHS Chief Executive all in attendance and addressing the delegates from the lecture theatres. As full-service suppliers, our 75-person team was on-site at Manchester Central, two days ahead of the opening, to build the entire show.?
Comprising more than 8000m2 of floorcovering, 1600m2 of shell scheme, 650m2 of graphics, 11 feature areas and 180 exhibitors to look after, we had this entire operation planned down to the last detail, and succeeded in delivering a flawlessly smooth build.
All in all the whole expo proved to be a great success, well attended with plenty of positive comments from delegates during and after the event. We took a little time out to take some pictures of the show coming together as you can see here:
Installer Show, NEC, 27-29 June
Back to our 'local' venue, the superb NEC for The Installer Show, where we were asked to design and build a? total of 15 feature areas for the event, including cafe lounges, lecture theatre-style spaces and even an area to play a game of hook-a-duck. We created a bespoke design for every feature area and created a short reel of our first truckload arriving and the high-level banners going up ahead of everything else.
And we think you'll agree the feature areas looked fantastic when finished, thanks to our brilliant team on the ground, and our dedicated feature area team at HQ!

Bespoke Stands
Kearney & Snowflake at Smart Factory, NEC, 5-6 June
Smart Factory is an exciting event showcasing the latest digital innovations in industrial and manufacturing technology,? and we were back on home turf building two stands here for our customers Kearney and Snowflake., which you can see under construction here. In addition to our full-service offering to NHS ConfedExpo, we also built and designed Snowflake's space-only stand at this event.
Globalisation Partners at London Tech Week, QEII Centre, 12-14 June
We were down in London for London Tech Week at the QEII Centre, building the third stand this year for the award-winning Globalisation Partners, after delivering their stand at the Festival of Work at Olympia London earlier in the month and HR Tech in May at ExCeL London.? You've seen the stand design in last month's newsletter, but we can't resist sharing a little feedback from our client from this time:
Gardena at Glee, NEC, 25-27 June
Glee is the UK's leading garden and outdoor living trade show, and our client Gardena asked us to create and build this smart space-only stand for the event. With open sightlines and a showroom feel, the stand incorporated several brand zones, including a Flymo area and Gardena Greenhouse. With space for a counter and chairs, plus a few occasional tables with barstools,? there was plenty of space for visitor engagement? - all surrounded by luscious green plants and shrubs, for a real patio garden atmosphere!
Looking ahead
We're anticipating a quieter month ahead, with some planning for the autumn season, taking some well-earned leave, and generally winding down a little after 6 months of non-stop work.
We'll still be building some Point of Sale designs for Hisense, designing and shopfitting for Egg - the baby travel-system people - and then back to the NEC with a stand for Bushbeck at SOLEX - the outdoor living trade show in mid-July.
We'll be back next month to let you know what we've been up to, and if you're unlucky, a long slideshow of snaps from Alan's trip to Corfu!
Have a wonderful summer and see you at a show soon!
Great news letter Alan. All the pics look great and glad all went well.
