News Round-up: Mid-sized ETF issuers left in no man’s land

法国巴黎银行 potential acquisition of AXA Investment Managers has once again shone a light on how difficult it is to be a small and medium-sized ETF issuer in Europe. “Cheap or unique” seems to sum up the ETF offering in Europe with new issuers finding it increasingly difficult to break into the market. Lauren Gibbons takes a look at the impact of the joint venture on the respective ETF ranges.

ETF investors were not overly concerned with the market correction earlier this week, noting much of the sell-off was overdone. Opportunities have opened up in high-yield credit while government bond ETFs have also fared well over the past week. Jamie Gordon gets the fund selector perspective.
