The Power of Partnerships

In this section we shine a spotlight on the impact of collaboration and the transformative results achieved through partnerships. At The Resource Foundation, we witness daily? the incredible outcomes that unfold when donors, programs, and communities come together.

Positive Change in Science Education in Brazil

By partnering with Amgen Foundation , we have empowered the local organization Ensina Brasil to cultivate leadership in public school students, amplifying their potential as the future of science in the country.

The organization has impacted 6 STEM projects developed by teachers in schools, which have directly influenced 400 students and indirectly reached over 1,000 more. Additionally, approximately 68 STEM teachers are benefitting from ongoing mentoring and hard skills training initiatives.

Ten alumni of the project have been selected to receive individual consultancy support, along with assistance covering the costs of postgraduate program applications. These achievements reflect the organization's commitment to fostering positive change in science education in Brazil.

Success story: Voices from Ensina Brasil Alumni

"In June 20, 2023, I received an email from Ensina Brasil introducing this program, and without hesitation, I applied. Despite the setback of a negative response from another program, this initiative brought a renewed sense of hope for achieving my dream. I am fully conscious of my challenges, being a black woman from the interior of Minas Gerais, educated in public schools and universities, benefiting from quotas and student assistance, each carrying its own weight. In life's race, I begin from a place with numerous obstacles. However, with patience and resilience, I have been seizing the opportunities that come my way, constructing a path towards my dreams. I perceive this project as yet another valuable opportunity to create shortcuts on this journey." - Larissa Roberta Pereira, class alumni.
