Nicholas Harrell Awarded Tau Beta Pi Scholarship
?
Nicholas has been awarded for the 2024-25 year, a scholarship from Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society.? Nicholas, the son of Donna and David Harrell, will receive a cash award of $2,000 for his senior year of engineering study.? Tau Beta Pi Scholarships are awarded to junior members on a competitive basis of high scholarship, campus leadership and service, and promise of future contributions to the engineering profession.

A Meyerhoff Scholar studying for dual degrees in computer engineering and mathematics at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, Nicholas is president of the IEEE student chapter; a member of Tau Beta Pi honor society; and a member of the M33 Meyerhoff Scholar Program at UMBC.? He is a 2021 graduate of the STEM program at North County High School.
