4) New offshore energy hub in Lowestoft takes shape
A ￡35m investment in redeveloping parts of Lowestoft harbour is almost complete. Come October, Associated British Ports will open the new Lowestoft Eastern Energy Facility (LEEF) to business. LEEF will support the construction of hundreds of new wind turbines in the North Sea and ongoing operations and maintenance activities.
