From Lucy's Desk

Hello everyone!

As I write, I reflect yet again on my friends in Russia who are so far away, but celebrating alongside us on this special day. As Jo Cox said "We Are Far More United Than The Things That Divide Us".

Yesterday, I spent time with many colleagues, old and new, at 2 events in London and reflected on the things that hold us together. At the reception to launch our Future Economy Alliance Manifesto, Chair Arvinda Gohil was asked how we could have one voice as an Alliance, due to the fractured nature of the social economy community. It's a simple answer though - 'We want to fix the future' it's a mutual goal.

That's also what International Women's Day is about. Fixing the future for all women now and those that follow in our footsteps.

That's all for now! Stay tuned for more of my thoughts and updates next week.
