Highlights

From Lucy's Desk

Hello everyone!

At last, spring feels like it's here. A reduction in the amount of rain this week led me to take time out to cycle with my friend and colleague Jan Golding - Chair of Roots HR and Social Enterprise Mark Ambassador. Roots HR has been our long-time, valued Mark Holder as well as providing excellent HR advice over the years. We are part of a Women's cycling group that is very supportive and non-competitive. Cycling through the green Devon lanes and having a chat about life with everyone is very cathartic, especially given some of the pressures of the business world at the moment.

Getting the right work-life balance is important. Losing friends, family members, and colleagues early due to stress concentrates the mind. On this basis, we are running our latest webinar exploring the benefits of the four-day workweek with Forward Carers on March 26th.

Stay tuned for more updates and thoughts next week.?
