Insights from our interactions this month
This month has been busy we have seen offers made from multinationals and UK based entrepeneurs. Buyers have been quick to act and will take on well run cash generative businesses.
In addition there are a number of asset management companies looking for investment opportunities generating an EBITDA in excess of £1million p.a
Tip of the month
Make sure your business is transferable. When owners sell their businesses it usually means they will exit on completion or shortly after. Owners need to ensure there is a management team who can run the business and manage all customer and supplier relationships once they have exited. Without the second tier management in place the business is much less salable (if at all), the alternative will be a lengthy handover or the former owners becoming employees.
