News from Twitter: Getting Fired Out of The Blues!

It’s raining layoffs at Twitter, and the controversy is brewing. Elon Musk has been called out for relieving many Twitter workers of their jobs following his acquisition of the company. However, in a very recent report from the guardian, he defended his actions saying: axed employees received a three-month payment from the company, which is losing more than $4m a day. About 3,700 Twitter workers were laid off yesterday, 4th of November, 2022, after a general mail was sent out to workers giving heads up about the impending change.?Of course, Musk’s actions were met with a class-action lawsuit for not giving employees prior and adequate notice and violating their rights.?Yet, he had his reasons.
