Lusben opens largest Mediterranean keel pit at Livorno shipyard

Lusben, the refit and repair arm of the Azimut|Benetti Group, has unveiled a cutting-edge keel inspection pit at its Livorno shipyard—the largest in the Mediterranean. Capable of servicing yachts up to 70 metres (230 feet), the pit was inaugurated with the 56m (184ft) yacht Rosehearty. General manager Ferdinando Pilli emphasised that this development broadens Lusben’s services, further establishing Livorno as a premier site for high-end yacht refit and repair.

Feadship unveils 75-metre superyacht ONE

Feadship's 75.75m (248.6ft) superyacht ONE, a luxurious vessel blending masculine elegance with cutting-edge design, has left the Kaag shipyard. Created by Studio De Voogt and Gilles & Boissier, ONE features a chamfered bow, tumblehome stern, and versatile interiors for twelve guests, including a VIP suite and master with a private terrace. Equipped with a pool, hot tub, gym, helipad, and beach club, ONE boasts a 5,000-nautical-mile range, set for delivery in 2025.

Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show returns in 2025

The 36th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), set for May 2025, will showcase cutting-edge marine technology, luxury vessels, and industry innovations. Drawing over 43,000 attendees, SCIBS is expanding its layout and adding new features like a reimagined pavilion and Lagoon Beach Club. The event supports Queensland’s economy, generating an estimated AUD$445 million (c. €273 million) annually. With dedicated networking lounges, SCIBS strengthens its role as a key event for marine professionals and enthusiasts.
