News from Cottam - September 2023
EMCON exhibition 2023
This year’s EMCON Engineering & Manufacturing Show , organised by the Engineering and Manufacturing Network , was held this month and Chelsie Brown and Nick Palfreyman were there to speak to our customers and network with other manufacturers from across the region.
As you can see, a lot of hard work went into our stand, so we were delighted when delegates voted our stand as the ‘most attractive’, helped (in part!) by the chance to win a Cottam “Messy Decorating Hamper”. Well done to Loraine Henderson from Excelpoint Limited who came closest in our competition to guess how many filaments were in the jar!
Thanks to everyone who came to speak to us at EMCON, we had some great conversations, and now lots of leads to follow up on!
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Today we held our annual coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and collected over £140. Thanks to Cottam staff and our lovely visitors who baked and donated for this amazing charity. We’re now all stuffed and ready for the weekend!
