Once upon a week in Bergen
The King, Crown Prince, Prime Minister of Norway, as well as global players and thought influencers, gathered in Bergen to take part in One Ocean Week.
With spectacular weather throughout the week, it felt like a bit of a fairytale when the sailing vessel Statsraad Lehmkuhl, also known as the White Lady, arrived in Bergen on April 15th at noon.
After an adventurous circumnavigation of the globe that took 18 months were official invitations had been extended to attend the?One Ocean Week?in every port that it had visited, its arrival kicked off the week thouroughly.?
An eventful week
Over 150 events were held, where businesses, industries, academia, local government, and the public all contributed to the programme. From site visits and panel discussions to networking and workshops, there was something for everyone.
