M/Y Fountainhead arrives at Nautech in La Ciotat ahead of extensive works

The 88-metre (289-foot)superyacht Fountainhead, launched by Feadship in 2011, has arrived in La Ciotat, France, for a class special survey at Nautech Group's shipyard. Valued at $130 million (c. €117 million), Fountainhead will undergo maintenance to remain in top condition.

Introducing the motorboats at Cannes Yachting Festival 2024

The 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival will debut a new Powerboat Marina, designed for motorboats up to 12m (40ft). Located at Port Canto, the marina will feature over 175 boats, with 135 in the water and 40 on land. This marks a shift in focus towards smaller boats, providing a dedicated space for showcasing cutting-edge motorboats and innovative maritime technologies.

AYSS launches global drone video competition for yacht crew

The Association of Yacht Support Services (AYSS) has launched a drone video competition, "Love From Above," for superyacht captains and crew. Participants can submit 30-second drone videos showcasing the beauty of the yachting lifestyle. Entries, judged on creativity and storytelling, are open until 1st November 2024.
