News 28.04.23- Checking the Rear View Mirror

Last week, I talked about the importance of planning for the future, and while I think it’s important to always be looking forward, there’s also real value in remembering past experiences. It allows us to learn from mistakes, celebrate our achievements and can help us recognise how far we've come and appreciate the progress we've made.

When things are uncertain, recalling past experiences can help us gain perspective. Remembering how inexperienced you were when you first started out can bolster your confidence if you’re second guessing yourself, and when the chips are down, it’s good to remember that in the past, you’ve always come out the other side.

This week’s podcast is a shorter than usual episode discussing the struggles we’re facing in the commercial office market, whilst on the blog I’m looking back at my first ever property deals. Our video is a look back on my fantastic conversation with Rod Khleif, who was able to bounce back from a 50m loss after the 2008 crash. I hope you enjoy!

PODCAST - #155: The Current State of the Office Market

A short episode this week just covering some of the struggles we are experiencing in the commercial office market with mixed signals coming from all directions - I hope you enjoy!

ON THE BLOG - My first ever property deals

If you’re new to my blog you may be curious about my backstory and how I got started in property –it’s something I’ve talked a lot on the podcast before but I wanted to write about it here. Think of it as my origin story!

Staging a Comeback After Losing 50M | Rod Khleif

?Last year I am spoke with multi-family investment guru and coach Rod Khleif from Sarasota, Florida, in one of my favourite podcast episodes. Rod has a number of impressive accolades including having passed 13M downloads for his own podcast. Our conversation covered a range of topics starting with how he went from 50M in net worth to zero after the 2008 financial crash and then went on to rebuild his fortune – it’s well worth a revisit!

Remember that you can also revisit past podcast episodes (video and audio versions) on the?Behind The Facade YouTube Channel?– there’s so much value there so do take a look.?

?That's all for this week folks –see you next time!
