The Newport Prairie Project - Up & Running!

The Newport Prairie Project, our band based in Buchanan, Michigan, is now fully up and running—two years after our previous band, The Newports, had its "Last Dance" show at The Acorn in Three Oaks. You can find our website at PrairieProject.net, and we've updated The Newports' old Facebook page to represent The Newport Prairie Project.

?We're actively booking gigs, and the relevant information can be found at the Electronic Press Kit page of our website. Please feel free to pass it along to your favorite venues in Harbor Country and surrounding areas in southwest Michigan! We perform seasonally from mid-April through late November, playing blues, alt-country, and heartland rock. Our setlist includes original songs along with our unique takes on both classic hits and deep tracks by our favorite artists.

?We perform at clubs, wineries, breweries, community festivals, and concert venues. For more intimate settings, we use a scaled-back sound system to deliver a laid-back version of our setlist, perfect for quieter, smaller venues.

?We're looking to schedule a few more gigs before our seasonal hiatus in mid-November, and we're already booking dates for 2025.
