It is my honour to introduce Newar community in Nepal. most dedicated community in world to preserve their culture. They are indeed a significant ethnic group and play a crucial role in preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding regions. Their dedication to preserving their culture and traditions is commendable, and their festivals and rituals are an integral part of the Nepalese cultural landscape.
They have all most every day fate, fest and festivals. What encourage me to write is their foods. Food is part of culture and each these festival has it's delicacy. There is reason to be these foods and there is rule to when, and how to eat. It also based on Sun & moon I believe.
The Newars have a diverse and vibrant culture, with a wide range of festivals and traditions. Some of their most well-known festivals include Indra Jatra, which is a Kathmandu Valley-wide celebration, and various New Year celebrations like Nepal Sambat and Nhu Daya Bhintuna. The Newars are also known for their distinct art, architecture, and cuisine, all of which reflect their unique cultural identity.
The Newar community's contribution to Nepal's cultural diversity is substantial, and they continue to be an essential part of the country's social fabric. Their efforts to preserve their cultural heritage and traditions are not only significant for Nepal but also for the world, as they showcase the importance of safeguarding cultural diversity and history.
