New Zealand Debut: Showcasing Our Superior Performance Reflectors, a game-changer in Optics and lighting performances

The last week of May I have been called in New Zealand to present the new optical reflectors that our re-styled luminaries series ITALO and I-TRON are now equipped with, during events that have been hold in the cities of Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.

On last May 29th, a reserved hall in the strategic Maritime Museum of Auckland welcomed consultants, contractors and authorities who were able to view in the first event the new ITALO and new I-TRON series equipped with the new PENTHA LED engine, an evolution from the previous TRIO version which allows an increase in 15-20% in terms of performance and efficiency.

The new performances underscore the advancements in LED street lighting technology, emphasizing energy efficiency, improved safety, and visual comfort for urban environments. The presentations likely highlighted the technological innovations, cost-effectiveness, and environmental benefits of the new optical solutions for LED streetlights.

The new LED engine which has been set by the manufacturer to get the best efficacy @ 4000K colour temperature allows the efficacy of the new I-Tron and Italo higher than 145lm/W in many configurations.

The new AEC's ITALO and I-TRON luminaries have been specifically engineered and designed in such a way to satisfy a wide range of installation geometries, offering a higher luminance to power ratio than many other fittings, and thank to the possibility to compose their LED's modules like bricks to obtain photometric performances able to solve complicated scenarios.

The adopted predictive software in use allows to understand how satisfying the "lighting rays" will come out from the optical reflectors during the design stage:

To be recalled, AEC Illuminazione and Techlight (Official Partner in New Zealand) have collaborated with WSP Auckland to renovate the LED street lighting on the iconic Auckland Harbor Bridge. This installation, has been a project recognized at the 2019 IESANZ New Zealand Chapter Lighting Awards, winning both the Lighting Design Award and the Dark Sky Award from the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand.

Currently the new series of ITALO and I-Tron luminaires enjoy a wide availability of optical reflectors capable of optimizing performance in an optimal manner.

Front and rear screens to limit light trespass with relative photometric files are now available for easy assembly even after the luminaires have been installed: these remain inside the lighting bodies, are totally protected and do not jeopardize their pleasant aesthetics as instead happens in the case of external anti-glare shields.

A great memory of preparation for exceptional events that will not fail to bring satisfaction to the commitment and dedication of AEC Illuminazione and Techlight in the near future!
