While it is a rare event to have your brand or company featured in editorial pages of the Gray Lady, I am pleased to announce that both Franck Muller & FTS American Manufacturing are both featured in the domestic and international editions of the New York Times this week!
On one side we have the ultimate lighter/timepiece combination: the Master Lighter. Designed in partnership with S.T. Dupont and built by Franck Muller at their Watchland atelier in Genthod (Geneva) Switzerland, this merger of two luxury brands was the talk of the town during the 2024 Spring watch events in Geneva. The other New York Times feature was focused on my other company - FTS American Manufacturing.
This feature has been in process for quite some time and focuses on how FTS American Manufacturing embraces the potential of men & women on the neuro-diverse spectrum by partnering with the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) to employ adults with autism. While not every candidate makes for a good technician, certain neuro-diverse people actually thrive under conditions that others might find tedious, repetitive, or even too precision-oriented to manage.
