New Year. New YOU!

Your nutritional goals are a mindset away, yet, often times we get so caught up in the perceptions and judgements of others, that we begin to internalize a false understanding, false identity of who we truly are and our goals/ wants.

How many "New" years and new year resolutions have come and gone, where you start off on your health journey- the diets, the cleanses/ detox, smoothies, cooking and eating your own meals, and even exercising, until a couple months later, it all spirals down from that one "cheat" meal you consumed, leaving you back to square one again with feelings of lethargy, tiredness, gas and bloating.

And Why??

Because old habits, patterns, ways of being and thinking are still the same.?Real, everlasting change comes from balance (nutritionally and holistically).

For a New YOU to develop in a new year, a new mindset must be developed, in order to attain these nutritional goals. And not just at the beginning of the year, but at anytime throughout the year.?

Here are 7 tips to keep you mindfully balanced, nutritionally and holistically on your pursuit to living a healthier lifestyle this year.

1. Be Authentic. Being real with yourself is the first step in developing new, healthy, nutritional goals. No more excuses. Start with small wins (baby steps) of things you want to change on a daily basis and work your way up from them.

2. Write down YOUR wants, dreams, goals. I truly believe in the power of intention with manifestation, especially through writing. Writing is part of the beginning phase(s) of manifestation that allows you to organize your thoughts, visualize your desires and then take action where necessary. You have to know what you want before you can manifest anything else you may need, in order to attain your dream/ goals. Remember, ideas (thoughts) are powerful and become reality when there's momentum, an energetic force behind it. So, don't give up. Keep writing; keep manifesting working towards your goals. Dreams DO come True!

3. Take effective, actionable steps.?If you want something badly enough, you MUST take action. Whether you're looking to lose that extra 10 pounds or implement a more, nutritious daily regimen, an effective process incorporating daily, actionable steps will be required. Perhaps it's time to bring more energetic flow to your body, soul and mind via exercise, yoga, mud packing, drinking more water or even eating more live foods. Whatever it is you want, work towards it daily. Be a holistic leader in your own life.

4. Check-In with Yourself Daily. When last did you ask yourself, "Are you ok?" or "How did that meal make me feel?" or "Did you eat today?" It may seem like a weird concept, I know, but in asking oneself such questions, it actually allows you to catch your breath, slowww down from the daily rat race and bring your fragmented energies back into a state of oneness within your body. When you continue to check-in/connect with yourself, that truly is demonstrating self-care and self-love.

5. Ask for help!?You cannot do it alone, nor do you need to do it alone. Whether you organize weekly or bi-weekly meetings, call upon Your Mastermind Tribe who can effectively support and guide you to where it is you need to go.

6. Find YOUR Balance. This is a super important concept to keep in mind.What may feel great to someone else, may not work for you and that's ok. Not every diet nor plan may work for you. Focus on YOU and finding your centre, what feels good to you and work towards maintaining it on a daily basis. Remember, when you take care of you, you are taking care of the team.

7. Give Gratitude! Say "Thank You!" For anything you have and for everything that is on its way to meet you, just say Thank you! These 2 words have so much power behind them. When you show gratitude, you transmute this type of energy out into the world, which will continue to come back to you 10 fold in various ways. Being in a state of gratitude, shifts your energy from being in a state of lack, to opening up your heart and allowing you to receive much more love and abundance.

Continue to become The BEST version of YOU that you possibly can.
