New Year, New You: Levelling Up Your Social Media Strategy for 2022.

We’re kick-starting our new year's resolution earlier than usual to help more people level up their social media strategies. Take a look at these?five easy-to-follow steps?to create a brand new social media strategy ready for 2022 ??

1???What are your resolutions?

  • ?Identify the goals you want to achieve from your social media in 2022.
  • ?Make sure your goals are aligned with your business and hiring priorities.
  • ?Make sure the goals fit the SMART framework.

2???Do your digging:

  • Dig into the data, analysing your content from the last year to see what worked well and what could be improved.?
  • Seek inspiration from other social media accounts and similar brands.
  • Get to know your current social media audiences by diving into your analytics on each channel.

3???Propose your pillars:

  • Think about what provides value to your audience and what addresses your goals and use this research to create a selection of content pillars that will act as umbrellas across all of your output.
  • Broadly build these pillars around areas like company culture and values, big wins and milestones, the people that make up the business and recruiting new talent.

4???Crack on with creating content:

  • Now you have your content pillars, it is time to start creating the regular content series which will sit underneath each one.?
  • Make sure that there’s variety within the series, people don’t want to see the same sort of content day after day after day.
  • As you brainstorm, make sure to visualise what each series could look like and what actions will be needed to make it happen.
  • Ensure that each content series reflects the platform it is being published on, the content you expect to see on TikTok is very different to the content you expect to see on Twitter.

  • Build your monthly calendar using a variety of content series from each pillar.
