New year, new you, or new year, old you?
The choice is yours—what will you do?
As the year winds down, it’s natural to reflect.
What went well? What changes do you expect?
Like many of you, I set goals for the new year. Over time, I've improved at defining and following through on my vision.
?What about you? Have you looked back on 2024?
What would you like to change? What do you wish could be more?
Maybe it’s improving your health or deepening your faith.
Perhaps it’s learning a new skill or finding a new workplace.
I’d love to introduce you to a few clients I’m working with now—individuals who’ve committed to embracing a new year and a new version of themselves in 2025.
If you're considering your journey toward change, why not make this the year you start?
New year, new you—it's time to decide,
Will you take charge or let life ride?
From Overworked to Reclaiming Life
The first client I want to introduce you to is a gentleman who truly defines dedication. For the past 21 years, he’s worked a demanding job that requires him to be available 24/7, 365 days a year. When the phone rings, he has just 45 minutes to show up. It doesn’t matter if it’s the middle of the night, a holiday, or a precious family moment—work always takes precedence.
He and his wife recently visited my office, and it was clear they were carrying the weight of that schedule. They have four children, including a set of twins, and the constant demands of his job have taken a toll. His wife confessed that she’s tired—tired of the unpredictable hours, tired of the missed family milestones, and tired of feeling like work comes first no matter what.

When I asked them one simple question, it changed the tone of the conversation: “What is it that you want business ownership to give you?”
Their answer was heartfelt and immediate: “A life.”
This family’s story isn’t unique. Many of us get so wrapped up in the day-to-day grind that we lose sight of what truly matters. Sometimes we don’t realize how much we’ve allowed our roles to drain us—of energy, time, and joy—until we’re forced to stop and reflect.
Exploring franchise business ownership for this family is about reclaiming control of their time and future. It’s about creating a life that works for them rather than working endlessly for someone else.
Have you thought about what your life could look like if you took a similar leap? Maybe it’s about spending more time with your family, pursuing a passion, or simply having the freedom to call your shots.
Business ownership isn’t for everyone—but it might be the right choice for you.
Take the first step. Let’s explore the possibilities together. You might just find the freedom, flexibility, and fulfillment you’ve been searching for.
Let’s start the conversation. Your new life could be waiting.
Building a Business for a New Future
Let me introduce you to someone taking bold steps toward a new future.
This is the story of a 39-year-old man who has reached a turning point in his life. He has a successful career and earns a great income, but the stress from his job is taking a toll—physically and emotionally. His role is so demanding that it’s left him frequently sick and exhausted, and he knows it’s not sustainable.
He and his wife have two young children, ages 2 and 5. With little ones at home, the family dynamic is fundamental to them. His wife is thriving in her marketing executive career, balancing work and family responsibilities with grace. But he’s realized that the time has come to make a change—not just for himself, but for his family.
When we first met, he told me he didn’t like his job and knew it was not where he wanted to stay forever. That’s why he’s exploring franchise business ownership. His plan is thoughtful and strategic: he will start a business while keeping his current role, building it up gradually. Once the franchise reaches a certain income level, he’ll make the leap and leave his job behind.
And here’s the part he’s most excited about—his long-term goal isn’t just financial freedom. It’s about time freedom. He’s looking forward to becoming a stay-at-home dad, fully present for his kids and supportive of his wife’s fantastic career.
This story is a reminder that change doesn’t have to be all or nothing. You can plan, prepare, and move toward the life you want—on your terms.
