All the promise through 2016 to aid drivers of commercial vehicles to not overload has seem to have ended just like the year. The amount of miss information and lack of conformaty between public bodies who supply the information and or prosecute the drivers and companies has led the industry to the middle of a mine field.

I have been working with commercial vehicles in one form or another for over 20 years and the best piece of advice I can offer is when you ask the question get the response in writing to protect yourself.

Because of the problems our customers had last year and the reasons they came to Red Forge for assistance, we are offering open days at Red Forge to give drivers training on the overloading issues and best practice.
