New Year, Same Mission: Celebrating 2024 and Beginning 2025

Hello everyone,

Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed their holidays!

If you follow our social media, you may have noticed that our Christmas Events this year went incredibly well. Our third and final event on December 23 was filled with generosity and joy as we gave 312 children new clothes in the Namayingo District. In the morning, we were able to give 125 children in Nasinu village clothes and, in the afternoon, we were able to give 187 children new clothes in Bujwanga village.

Overall, these events have been incredibly meaningful for both the families in rural Uganda served as well as for the NJOFA family. We really appreciate our donors and volunteers who were able to make these events possible! So, thank you sincerely.

Look Ahead to 2025:

Child Sponsorship Program

Child Sponsorship in action

In 2024, we were able to launch our Child Sponsorship Program!! This program is a way for donors to directly have an impact by choosing a child to sponsor in their education. All donation money goes to support the child's education. Without help covering the fees of about USD $45, these children's families cannot afford school supplies or school fees. Education is a powerful tool in empowering these children and we are happy to offer it at NJO Foundation Africa.

As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited to raise more awareness and fundraise to see how this program can develop and the lives it will continue to change.

Upcoming Events! Please Donate!

This January and early February, we will be hosting our usual Back-To-School Events!

Children start their first term of the year on February 3, 2025. Too many children in Uganda, especially in rural Uganda, can afford neither their school fees nor school supplies.

To help impoverished families empower their children's minds and to create a more equitable Uganda, at the back-to-school events, we help cover the costs of school and school supplies as well as provide food and donated clothes and shoes so they can go back to school ready and happy.

If you are able, please donate to help us help as many children as we can with these events: https://www.njofoundationafrica.org/donate (or contact NJOFA for a Venmo option)

Overall, thank you for your support in 2024! Whether through donations, volunteering or spreading awareness, we appreciate how far we have been able to come.

We look forward to seeing what more we can accomplish in 2025 : )

Best,

NJOFA Team
