New Year, Same Family ??

As another year comes to an end, as one chapter closes and another begins, the time has come to look back at the story that Double Tap has written over the 12 months of the year ’22!

Our family is constantly growing and this year we welcomed several new talents, such as Appie Aurag, Ana Quiles, Antonio Santiago, Sam FootX, Mercedes Roa, Kaljit Atwal and Jelani. Together with all our other talents, they are making us bigger and better.

Along with Fabrizio Romano, Double Tap has ensured that the Transfer Deadline Day shows were a success! In February Aviv Levy Shoshan joined the journalistic icon that is Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio in the 喜力 Experience in Amsterdam city center. With a total reach of 4,1M and almost 1,5M live views, the almost 13-hour live stream provided everything transfer-related! In September the team has gathered again, this time reinforced with additional hosts Semra Hunter and Samantha Jade Miller, to once again take the last day of the transfer market by storm! The third Transfer Deadline Day show produced by Double Tap again reached more than 1,2M live views!

DT talents were all over the world this year - seeing amazing places, attending unforgettable events, and collaborating with some global brands - let’s take a walk down memory lane!

Heineken’s #CheersToAllFans took the team to the Euro 2022, Europa League, and women’s and men’s Champions League finals! Talk about big occasions - all throughout the year!

Oussama Nacer (OussiFooty) had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in Manchester as he tossed the coin at the start of the derby - Hublot and Oussi make a great team! He also attended Cupra’s event in Barcelona, where he got the chance to check out their brand-new electric cars.

Mercedes Roa, together with Oussi got us all in the #ChampionsLeague spirit, with a little help from 阿迪达斯 in October.

Nutmeg Royale by 百事 was a campaign to remember - Kaljit Atwal was a star next to some of football’s greatest! Messi, Pogba, Ronaldinho and Kaljit - the dream team.

The footballing world had its eyes fixed on Paris in autumn, where the most prestigious award in the sport, the Ballon d’Or, was presented - of course the Double Tap family wasn’t missing. Socios.com hosted Aviv Levy Shoshan and Oussama Nacer (OussiFooty) on a legendary night!

Aviv Levy Shoshan was making waves all over Europe though! The creator officially joined AFC Ajax as their new international host, where he’s bringing all the Ajax supporters together, no matter where they’re watching from.

Fabrizio Romano lit up Dubai as he was awarded the #GlobeSoccerAward for Best Football journalist.

Aviv, Mercedes, Lirian, Natalia, Ana, Oussi, Sam, Nico and Ben finished the year at the biggest event on the football calendar - THE FIFA World Cup! Creating content for their channels, FIFA channels, and working with brands, the four weeks will be remembered fondly forever - The team turned our home of creators into the home of #WORLDCUP creators!
