New Year

Reflecting back, all that you realise,

Another year gone by, with a group of truth and lies 

Broken friendships, broken relations,

Everything filled up in a bottle of frustrations!

High dreams, higher resolutions,

Some fulfilled and others underwent electrocutions

To be forever cherished and remembered are these memories,

By families and friends for centuries and centuries!

With all our past lessons into consideration,

We put all our new resolutions into formation

With new promises, come newer hardships,

Overcoming each one with a heart flip!

A world full of peace and love, we aspire,

New Year, this is the light we need to set on fire!
