New Year, New Girl Scout Cookie Season!

Happy 2020!

At Girl Scouts, we’re always excited to begin a new year because it means we’re officially in the thick of Girl Scout Cookie season. That’s right, it’s that time again—over the next few months, Girl Scout Cookie lovers across the country will have the chance to indulge their cravings for their favorite Girl Scout Cookies while also helping Girl Scout troops fund their incredible Girl Scout leadership opportunities and adventures. When you buy a box of Thin Mints (my favorite!), you’re not only getting a fun treat—you’re supporting girls as they build entrepreneurial skills that they can use throughout their lives, including goal setting, creating budgets, cultivating customers, learning to talk to and get along with different types of people, and making business decisions.

This year is especially exciting because we’re launching new cookie packaging featuring some of our most successful, innovative, and ambitious Girl Scout Cookie sellers—what we call our “Cookie Pros”—taking part in an incredible range of experiences available to them in Girl Scouts, from adventure-packed camping and canoeing, to exploring space science and designing robots, to taking action to improve their communities.

We’re also introducing a brand new cookie offering in select areas—Lemon Ups?, which are crispy lemon cookies baked with messages inspired by Girl Scout entrepreneurs such as “I am a go-getter” and “I am an innovator” that bring the experience of Girl Scouting to life.
