A pivotal event is launched today in line with the current and future necessity of preserving and respecting the environment, and working to reduce polluting it and corrupting its resources. Indeed, the activities of the first exhibition for the vehicles' clean energy conversion and replacement technologies, organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, kick off today under the sponsorship of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) during the period from 4-6 January 2021.
The exhibition includes holding 11 workshops for the public and specialists to discuss several major topics that provide all the information about the initiative to replace and convert vehicles to be operated with natural gas and the steps to complete the conversion.
The workshops also demonstrate the merits of using natural gas for cars and how to benefit from the initiative to convert and replace vehicles to be operated with clean and renewable energy, in addition to shedding light on the financing mechanisms available within the framework of the initiative.
It is scheduled that these workshops will include a number of representatives of ministries, local and international bodies, experts, officials, industrialists, representatives of banks, car manufacturers and natural gas companies.
Furthermore, it is expected that a myriad of financing contracts will be signed in the exhibition in the realms of converting cars to run with natural gas and promoting exports of locally manufactured cars to foreign markets.
Among the most important activities of the exhibition are launching the initiative of converting cars to run on natural gas, along with displaying genuine models of cars operating with natural gas or modified cars, which include sedans, buses, microbuses, transportation, as well as models of cars powered by electricity.
