New Year, New Will

New Year, New Will

Today is the bluest day of the year. It's the middle of January, when pay day was some time ago and now is so close, yet so far!

The last few years has been difficult for all of us in one way, or another.?We have all seen significant changes in the way we live, with Covid, and most recently, the cost of living.?

These variations in your life may have impacted your finances, your relationship, your business interests, in one way or another.?With these changes, you should review your current Will, or if you do not have a Will, you should consider making a Will.?

Reviewing your Will?

You should reflect on your wishes and see whether the change in your circumstances will impact your current Will, such as whether you have married, separated, or divorced, or in a new relationship.

  • Have you outlived your Executors, or has your relationship with them deteriorated?
  • Have your business interests changed since lockdown, or have you started a new business?
  • Have your financial circumstances changed, and you need to consider Tax planning?
  • Have you left the majority of your Estate to whom you wish to?
  • Have you considered the worst case scenario, if your immediate family pass away; where would you wish your Estate to pass to??

If you need to review your Will, or make a new Will, this is the best time to reflect on your wishes and put everything in place.?Make the change today and contact our Wills team on 01903 229999, or by email via [email protected] and we would be happy to assist you.
