Dear Creative Uprising Community

As this year begins, I'm taking a moment to reflect on the past year, and I encourage each of you to do the same. Reflecting on our experiences is instrumental in steering our paths towards improvement and growth in the coming year. By sharing my reflections, I hope to inspire your own self-reflection, allowing you to discern what has worked well and what needs adjustments for greater success.

Throughout last year, I remained diligent in setting goals and establishing actionable steps to achieve them. Picture this: setting goals every quarter like clockwork. The outcome? A rather delightful financial situation (though paying those taxes was a bit of a sting). Flying solo in the business world can feel like a one-person band, but reaching stable income shores? That's a jolly good win! Stability was a primary goal, and I dedicated myself to refining systems and methods, both in business operations and the services I offer, focusing on effective coaching methodologies that drive transformational results.

The year saw transformations beyond the professional sphere; it was a year of personal exploration. I rebranded my business to Creative Uprising, engaging with a wider audience through free virtual workshops. Investing extensively in coaching programs and personal development has been pivotal, reaffirming the correlation between self-investment and increased earnings.Who knew self-care could pay the bills?

Amidst these changes, I settled into a new home, relishing the opportunity to explore a new neighborhood, forge new friendships, and immerse myself in the beauty of nature. Automating aspects of my business liberated my mental bandwidth significantly, teaching me the power of embracing imperfect action and integrating spirituality and creativity into my work for a deeper sense of fulfillment.

Parenting and professional soul-saving? That's been a wild combo! I've learned to accept the messy and uncontrollable bits while channeling my inner zen guru—though I'm only on level 3 of the parenting game. Oh, and speaking of games, I've dabbled in gardening and assembled my Avengers team: personal trainer, cleaner, therapist, and coach—my squad for life!

A pivotal shift was my focus on learning, enrolling in a trauma master course and embarking on writing a book on creativity coaching. Strangely, my creative energy seems to influence positive outcomes for my clients, fostering a magnetic connection between creativity and results.The more I write, the more my clients hit the jackpot. It's like my keyboard's sprinkled with fairy dust or something!

Relationships?I learned to choose to be happy over being right, embracing the importance of supportive connections and gracefully moving on from those that don't serve my growth.

If someone's not checking in, they're probably not part of your fan club—cue the exit music for fresh faces and adventures!

I've realized the significance of nurturing personal energy through activities that ignite passion and creativity, establishing routines that encompass movement, prayer, creation, self-care, celebration, and most importantly, adequate rest.

Acknowledging failures has been equally instructive. Lessons learned? Fitness routines played hide-and-seek with my schedule, but I'm trying out morning workouts. And that creative retreat? While it was a blast, I'm planning a group masterclass bash for a bigger fiesta next time!
