A New World Order in a post-work world. The new normal.

With everyone being time rich at the moment we as a world are looking to the old way of living in an abstract way where we can pick and choose what to bring back to the future.

Take Microsofts new patent for the authentication of work performed for the release of a cryptocurrency. It's easy to look at this as a tracking and control system and I am seeing some posts about this but what if we flipped our viewpoint 180' and looked at it as a source of liberation.

A quick look at Patent WO2020060606 shows the release of credit for work done as picked up by biosensors. You will be given a task that can be monitored by the sensor units and funds will be released on completion of the task.

Physical authentication to say that the individual is a human being and not a bot, this would be to discourage bot mining of the global currency. With each human given a monthly basic income for just existing in this world. The end of poverty at a flick of a switch.

Doing a task above the basic would then earn you a credit or two, more complex tasks would earn more credits. Think a 10-minute walk, a 20-minute jog or 10 pushups based on bio-tracking. Running for longer or lifting heavy weights would payout at an increased rate.

A meritocracy of the body.

Of interest are the types of inputs and sensors noted - Brain waves.

Credits could then be earned by watching an advert and taking action, or deep study and thought on a topic, Topics are broken down into modules and rewards given for completion. Participation in think tanks for citizens showing aptitude in an area under discussion.

A meritocracy of the mind.

Credits could also be earned for an act of kindness, or a moment of joy. A devotional act or helping another. Deep and life-changing mediation could become a real earner in this new mind gig economy for people. Just looking at silicon valley at the moment and the meditation/mind hacking vibe to many startups and it's not a huge leap.

A meritocracy of the soul

Blended together these would allow you to self actualise the very best version of yourself. Body, mind and soul.

Who would you be this afternoon? An artist, poet or even just enjoying an afternoon picnic with friends.

The fMRI measures brain activity by detecting changes associated with blood flow. This technique relies on the fact that cerebral blood flow and neuronal activation are coupled. When an area of the brain is in use, blood flow to that region also increases.
